Inventory Analyst
Duties:
- Assist buyer with cycle counts on Saturday, if applicable, and input of inventory into computer
- Assist with all phases of inventory research, if applicable (including morning routes and created stocks)
- Handle all phases of stock transfers with other divisions
- Physically check in in-coming stock transfers
- Assist the warehouse with receiving and computer concerns and research of inventory
- Assist Warehouse in maintaining accuracy of row-bin-tier records
- Continually increase purchasing knowledge by acquiring product and logistical knowledge and learning vendor deals to enable him/her to fill in for vacations and absences and to become more valuable to the department and company
- Help organize buyer’s cost books and literature
